Brownstoner reported on a recently-renovated commercial space at Malcolm X and Halsey Street. The liquor store that was already there is staying, and the landlords have received lots of interest from other potential tenants. Looks like it’ll be filled by a food or beverage biz. ‘Stoner also reported that the big, crumbling building on Malcolm X and Macon (asking $3.5M) is now in contract. It looks likely that it will be demolished.

There’s new video of the B15 bus shooting in Bed Stuy last year. A 14-year old boy tried to fire at members of a rival gang on a crowded bus; he missed his intended targets and instead killed a bus rider. Terribly sad story over at Gothamist.
