This weekend is a big one for the neighborhood. First, there’s the Bed-Stuy Alive! festival happening this Saturday from 10am to 5pm. There will be fun events for kids (rock wall, face painting, arts and crafts, games, etc.) a Health Zone, where screenings and information will be provided, and a Bed-Stuy Food Court, with community dining tables and food from local chefs. It’ll all take place on Fulton Street between Brooklyn and New York avenues.
As part of Bed-Stuy Alive, there will also be the Feast BedStuy food and beverage tour, highlighting the edible goods of Lewis Avenue. On Sunday, from noon ’til 5pm, there will be special deals at Therapy Wine Bar, Beso Restaurant, Mom and Pops, Oaxaca, The Jerk Shop, Peaches and Peaches Bar.
