This Wednesday at St. Francis College, 180 Remsen Street in Brooklyn Heights, it’s the BCS Community Engagement Summit. Brooklyn Community Services is hosting the event, which will bring together a number of prominent New Yorkers for a discussion of some of the issues facing Brooklyn’s underserved communities.
Dr. Melony Samuels, the founder and executive director of Bed-Stuy Campaign Against Hunger, will be joined by four other speakers for the panel. This is a free event designed to inspire Brooklyn residents (not just in Bed-Stuy!) to take action and steps to help their community and neighborhood. Networking begins at 5pm and the panel begins at 6pm. RSVP here!
