Pop-Up Gallery, Featuring the Exhibit “Haiti tran•scend” Opens This Friday

This Friday, the pop-up art gallery “Haiti tran•scend” is debuting at The Malcolm, located at 106 Malcolm X Boulevard between Lexington and Greene. Two Brooklyn artists will be featured in the group show. Jerry Mc Georges, a traditional landscape and portrait artist, is from Haiti and his work depicts everyday life in the Caribbean. (He’s also an alumni of Boys and Girls High School.) Florine Demosthene, born in the United States and raised between Port-au-Prince and New York, has work at the University of South Africa and the Lowe Museum of Art of Miami.

The opening reception of the show is free, and will be held this Friday, March 16th from 7 to 10pm. Find event details here.
